Allerfeinste Wollschuhe für den Kinderfuß VERY FINE WOOLEN SHOES FOR A CHILD´S FOOT

Kinderfüße ganz in „Watte“ bzw. hier in wärmende Wolle gepackt.

Juli statt.

The „Fantasia“ wool produced by the Vetch Spinning Company is a wonderfully soft merino wool of very fine quality. A dream! The colour inside is a gleaming lemon yellow. Or rather, it was. During the trial treatment I put it through, a part of the yellow wool turned into green felt, of course. But a small part of the yellow wool remained and still provided a „remembrance of light yellow“. While felting shoes the blue wool bled so much that there is no yellow left. Swallowed by and drenched in blue, so to say. I don´t like wool that bleeds its colour so much; nonetheless, in my opinion, this quality of wool is impressively delicate and heavenly soft. Children´s feet completely wrapped in cotton wadding, i.e. in this case warmth-providing wool. The shoe is lined with a bright coralline coloured yarn. The next workshop for felting slippers will take place at my home July 26 – 28.
