I don´t like shoulder bags at all. Watch out if you lean forward to strap a child into his seat belt or tie a little child´s shoelaces. The bag that was resting on your back swings forward like a wrecking ball…and yet a woman often needs to have both hands free. The classic handbag is therefore rather a hindrance. Where to put the stuff that just must go along? It would be best over the arm towards the elbow. Both hands free and yet everything within reach. That is how this felt bag was conceived. To the eye the hole for the arm seems a bit large, something you have to get used to, but an arm in the sleeve of a winter coat passes through it comfortably. And this time form follows function. It must! A notebook size A4 fits in sideways and the matching purse with an angel´s wing has room for everything that doesn´t fit into a wallet without forcing it very quickly to reach its limits. I am so sick of carrying a „pregnant money-oyster“ along.

I like a blue sky that is traversed by glowing veins of rose-pink and golden yellow. A piece of sky. And a few stars that are already twinkling in the early evening sky. At the moment I love the evening best. Everything is quiet. No telephone, no job to do. Only a lovely light, a sofa and a pot of tea. Finally I can find some peace and rest from the days that are too full. My nights are comparable to those of young parents. Our tom-cat jumps at the bedroom door at 4:18 a.m.. So I follow him and let him out. By the time I am back in bed my head and body are half-awake and have a hard time going back to sleep.  I´m too tired during the day!

The next felting course will take place on April 12th and there is still an opening. Whoever doesn´t want to make slippers could make a fine new bag?!
